I found a process named "tibprxy.exe" running on one of our XP machines. I can't find anything about it. It has no info associated to the executable. The Registry entry for it was random letters. It was not flagged by our Anti-Virus or Spyware applications.

Help please i have found the info about removing the virus buy it tells me to uninstall the norton antivirus which the virus disabled, but i cannnot do this it will not work(even in safe mode)....any ideas please

As an example, I have a drive mapping to the M: drive to run a program, let's call it pinball. When I try and run pinball on the M: drive which is on a remote server running windows 2000 server, I get a prompt that says: Open File - Security Warning

I'm considering setting up another account on my XP professional with no administrator rights to minimize getting viruses. Our IT department at work to the way the administrator rights from users do Windows 2000 computers, saying that this will prevent infections.

Norton Internet Safety pops up this message over and over: "ViewMgr.exe is attempting to connect to a DNS server" and memu drop down recommends "always block programs..." because of High Risk. The Path is: C:\ProgramFiles\Viewpoint\ViewpointMgr.exe.; Protoco is: UDP(Outbound).
