Since I have accidentally turned on the firewall a few times (and tuirned it
off again because I hate it), now it takes 2 minutes to turn off on its own

Can anybody tell me what this is all about, because I can't think of any
reason why microsoft would wish to override my antivirus program and switch
off my active guard.

If I look at the list of exceptions, IEEXEC is not there.
If I click add program exception, IEEXEC is not in the 'recognized' list.
If I browse to IEEXEC and click OK, I get an error telling me that IEEXEC is already in the list.
