I have norton on my computer but cannot get the security center antivirus or

What tool can I use that logs when my PC is accessed by another? For example,
a program that logs if I was pinged, or if one of my ports was scanned, or if
someone tried to get into my PC. I can't find this in the event logs. I'm not
sure if Port Reporter or PortQuy provides this ...

is there any way to decrypt a file which has been encrypted but after
encrypting it, the user has changed and there is no recovery agent, is there
any third party program which would do that?

I have a Windows 2000 Server domain with Active Directory.  All users are in
the same OU.
Is there a way where these domain users can install published software thru
GPO? I want users to install only the software that I publish to them thru

In Windows 2000 when opening an attachment you are prompted with the choice
of Opening or Saving the document.  In XP Professional I am only receiving
the Save prompt.  Where can i change the setting to allow the Open feature to

OK, this should be really easy...
Whoami.exe /priv generates a list of privileges with "(X)" or "(O)"
precedeing them.  Am I right to assume that "(X)" means off and "(O)" means
