I am running XP Service Pack 2.

Kaspersky Antivirus (3 hourly updates and full scan weekly)
Kaspersky Firewall + Router Firewall

Here is the situation
Machine serving data - XP Pro, SP2 fully updated.
Client machine trying to access the data - XP Home, SP2 fully updated.
I set up an account with administrator rights on the Pro machine for the

Recently I bought a 3rd computer running on xp, I have the windows firewall
but everytime I shut the computer it disables. I have to go into the firewall
settings and enable it everytime I start it up. Does anyone know a solution
to this.

I have a laptop with xp sp2 and I have no permissions to perform admin tasks
while logged on as an administrator. I can edit the registry and was
wondering if there is a registry fix for this??? thanks in advance.

Firewall (turned off).  I had a warning come up from ZoneAlarm saying Windows

Ok, I don't want to have a "wellcome screen", so I deselect it from the
"change the way the users log on a nd off" menu.
But I don't want to get the box that asks for my password either. I only
have one user account and I don't want to use a password, so when I turn on
