how do I get rid of the lop virus?

Ive moved away from home for the last few months and when I arrived back
yesterday, i discovered that id forgotten the password on my WinXP. I am
the onlly user on the machine and the password hint hasnt helped me at
all.

I use windows  XP professional .  I was checking the my hosts file i have
found a entry (static ip address ) of my remote server. Named "application"
with the concerned IP address inthe hosts file.  so i am in doubt wheather
my system has been hijacked or infected ? So please help ...

I have 15 Dell GX270s in my lab. Before school ended last year I placed a
password on content.  I have tried every combination of lower case and caps
that I normally use and can't get in to any of them to add some web sites. Is

I right clicked and accidently selected "hide desktop icons" and I can't get

How to access a password enabled shared folder in Win95 from WindowsXP? It
always prompts me to enter password to log in a grayed guest account in the
Win95 PC and the pre-set password no longer works, although it still can be

We have discovered that computers that are set with a group policy to
deny Terminal Services login to the group Everyone result in the
negative effects posted at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909444
reversing the policy corrects the problems.  Anyone else see these

I have a big problem with my HDD. I am working under XP pro SP2.
What I done:
I remove all permission access on my HDD for the group

MSN Messenger does not work with my account anymore. Its worked fine for over
a year.  Now when I try and log it I get message saying "  Sigining in to MSN

I did not create them, so what would happen if I delete the "users" named
"LocalService" and "NetworkService" from C:\Documents and Settings?
