I figure I should be able to force-quit anything. This particular app is being lauched by a service and then hangs. I'd like to force-quit it, but when I try I get the error "access is denied". I am logged on as the admin. I tried restarting the launcher service. It had no effect.

the encryption level is set to 0-bit in internet explorer. i cannot view https websites. we applied the fix in microsoft support article 813444. this did not resolve the issue.

I downloaded *.avi file on to my D:\ drive. But when I try to delete it I'd get an error "cannot delete...it's being used by another person or program. Close any program that might be using the file & try again". I went to the Safe mode also trying to delete but the same result.
