We have turned off the "Auto Update" feature in Windows XP Pro SP2, because
we use another patch management system. However, we keep getting those "Your
Computer May be at Risk" and "There are New Downloads..." messages from the
Taskbar. Is there any way to turn these messages ...

Is it possible on XP Pro SP2 to use the Windows Firewall to prevent ANY
traffic going from one LAN to another in a dual homed PC?
I use the PC to admin two seperate networks, but don't want it to be the
'weakest link' as it were.

I have recently re-built and installed a new HDD and MB.  Installed a OEM
version of XP with SP2 and created the 5 User accounts I require (2
Administrator and 3 Limited).  However, all users can see all others files.

Is there a way to limit the hours (say 9-5pm) that certain program can be
run.  We'd like to limit IE to a particualar shift so that even if the user
forgets to log off before they leave IE will not be able to run after 5.

If a guest plugs in his computer to a wired LAN where internet and network
are connected by a router, that computer should not be able to link to the
network without knowing the name of the network group.  Is that correct?  
Will Windows xp scan it and set it up automatically?

When removing malware from a system, is it necessary to remove any or all

security center is currently unavailable because the " security center" has
not been started or was stopped. please close this window, restart the
computer ( or start the security center service again ).. ...
