I want to disallow IE access for one domain logon on his desktop computer. I
would prefer if other logins on the desktop had access to IE.

I have been trying to change some folder share permissions and view the
security settings for folders on my local disk - however when I right click
and select one of the options - nothing happens, no error, no message nothing!
However a folder stored on my desktop can be managed.

I rebuilt an old XP PC by performing a complete re-install of XP home (SP2),
choosing to reformat/erase all existing data (or so I thought!)
All the programs etc are gone.. but the user profiles, and some of their
data, remained
