I have 2 files that cannot delete or fix, I have also run Spy Doctor and it
leaves them as well.   I have tried to follow Norton instructions to get rid
of them but they don't apply.  Now my computer tech tells me to back up all

requires me to enter a  "power-on password."  Although I know it, I would

Is it possible to enable a limited user to automatically download and install
critical updates from Windows Update?
If the do it manually, or through the settings in Control Panel (set up by
an admin) it still requires them to be an admin to install them.

Windows XP Pro has crashed and fails to start. It gets to the Windows
screen and the progress bar just keeps going - nowhere.

when I try to connect from one xp pro machine through a linksys router on
both sides to another xp pro machine I get through the "connecting message"

I'm trying to write a batch file, but I want to make it as readable as
possible for future edits.  I have a lot of if statements in a for loop and
it only works if I put it on one line.  Otherwise I get the error "0 was
unexpected at this time" during a simple == comparison.  ...
