Under power options - Advanced.  The Prompt for password when computer
resumes from standby is checked but greyed out.  How can I uncheck this box?

Machine experienced an OS hard disk failure.  Data was stored on different
physical drive.  Using XP pro in workgroup environment.  Cannot access files
from other drive now.  Can see them but when trying to open, get error saying

I just downloaded and used the new Live Scan from
Microsoft and it wiped out all my mail in Mozilla.
There was no warning to close the program before a
scan, so I was scanning in the background and using

Windows XP home SP2.  All microsoft updates have failed..Why? Now I keep
having a screen pop up to tell me I have 1160 critical errors.  My files that
I save are saved to so many different files that I didn' know I even had!

Found a trojan horse and removed, but that didn't work.

Our classroom pc's use Windows XP. Currently the school network is a
workgroup not a domain. I want to create three logins with different access
to desktop/ network resources but am unsure of the best to way to implement.
The logins I want are:

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the Master Password?  I don't know how I
did it, but every website I try and log onto that requires a username and
password, up pops another window asking me to input my Master Password!  This
is driving me crazy.

Using NET.EXE I can add a user and can also add the user to a group.
I do not see how to set non-expiring password.
I can easily bring up the administrator tool and modify the user and change
password to non-expiring so I have access privilege to do that.

My Brother change the password for the admin patch on my p.c and then forgot
it, i was wondering is there anyway to change the password to one i know?
Also the only other patch i have is a limited account! :(
