I have just been given the computer of a family friend.  The system had
never been upgraded to SP2 and was riddled with viruses, trojans and spyware.
All have since been removed.

We are unable to access any https sites using Internet Explorer, but we have
been able to access using Mozilla. Has something happened with our settings,

I have a handful of files that have shown up that have been recently actively
worked on in which the file's modified date/time are in the future - 60 years
in the future.
For example - a file modified 1/11/2006 at 4:45 PM now shows as being

Every time my computer starts up the computer has a note in the lower right
that reads: "Virus protection off" I click the icon and it goes to the
security center and a second later it goes from off to on. How do I correct
this, as I ended up with 9 viruses last week. thanks!

I am running Windows XP SP2.  Since I installed SP2, I can no longer open
.mdb file attachments in Outlook Express.  I know I can override this by
changing the "Do not let users open files that may contain viruses" checkbox

We have had a rash of people who can login to the domain but after it runs
the logon Scripts and settings it Logs them out instantly without going to the
Desktop. at first I thought it was just the new users but now it is current
