I'd just like the most layperson-friendly site to learn about
encrypting my hard drive.  (I realize encrypting a hard drive that has
been compromised will require me to wipe it out; I'm getting so d&*m

have my own user set for admin and internet explorer works fine, if someone
else tries to use system they must log in as limited. internet explorer never
opens and generates the following error message...

Running XP Pro. Have I been virused? Cant get into the text window when I
want to type a new email. Equally the text cannot be displayed in any of the

We are using WIN XP Pro SP2 on all our work stations. However, because of the
much simpler file sharing in WIN 98SE, we continue using a single WIN 98SE

Aloha- I just bought NAV 2006 and it has basically done a fine job of
removing spyware and viruses from my computer. There are still 16
spyware/adware threats (all by the names of Adware.MXTarget.B and
Adware.BetterInternet) that NAV detects. When I run the removal program on
