I just noticed that I had a second local area connection attached to my computer. when I tried to get rid of it -- since I had no idea who or what it was from -- i rebooted the system. Now my computer won't restart and all I get is a black screen with the above info as stated

Is it possible to protect an individual folder with a password in Windows XP (a bit like you can password-protect a file in Word)? (ie C:\My file\office correspondence, protecting the Office Correspondence folder with a password) Any help would be appreciated.

I am a Windows XP user. Under an original username, I encrypted a folder which I was able to access as long as I was within that particular account. No other Users could access it, as they would be denied entrance (standard fare for an encrypted folder, as I understand it).

Hey everyone, I have been infected with the Trojan.Zlob Virus and can't get rid of the damn thing. Now I have looked all over the internet and tried to read up on it but I still am unable to get rid of it, does anybody know a solution to this?
