if that is that case, there is a major exposure from an major vendor of
switches and routers.  They use sun jre 1.4x to control their devices, even
last time I install some new product  in Dec.
I thought it is the ms jre or java vm that is vulnerable.

What is so special today  at Microsoft that I saw among the private

hi guys, im working a friends computer and i cannot seem to rid him of this
problem. he has somem very BIG problems, regarding virus's and
spyware/malware. as im very good at this, ive removed lots of the items by

I read the thread explaining how to disable hidden network shares in the
registry upon a reboot.  But how do I just disable the D$ and E$ hidden
shares and not the C$ share?  I want this to be permanent so upon a reboot
only the C$ share works.

computer, I have to click on Computer Administrator. I never had to do this
