My Windows Firewall Stopped working and I am unable to restart it.
The event log shows the following errors:
Event ID: 7023
The Network Connections service terminated with the following error:

Can any one help me with the following problem?
I have a Dell Desktop running XP Home, the machine came with windows loaded
which has been no problem until now I now need to access this account,
however . the Administrators password has apparently been set when windows

I have a DELL 1150 notebook installed with Windows XP Home SP2 and
Norton System Works 2006.  Each time I run the full anti virus system
scan my PC shuts down.  What can I do to resolve this problem?

I am the only user on this computer and when trying to download certain
programs I am getting a prompt telling me that I can not access registry
files.  It tells me to have the admistrator sign on to complete the install.

ok, here's the thing... I'm getting popups all the time... anytime i'm
online, even if I'm not using IE nor any other program... i've used many
antyspyware.. adware... antivirus you can think of but they haven't help me

Can anyone tell me why the Windows firewall keeps turning itself off? Every
time I turn the computer on I have to change the setting back to the
recommended on setting, before starting the dial-up. I do not know why this

the folder belongs to a user with password that i know
