I have been setting up new systems recently that come w/SP2.  Since
that update level is 18 months old now, I wonder if it is safe to
connect these machines to the internet solely to go to the Windows

Hi...
One pc with xp home and SP2.  whenever try and play wmv movie files a
windows security window comes up and blocks it ... says somethign like
"windows security as blocked this as it could be potentially harmful"

Alright my copy of Norton Antivirus isn't up for renewal yet; the

i want users in my network beside the administrators group to just see only
inetrnet  explorer whenever they log in, i´ve tried so many ways but at the
