I have just noticed a problem with the security centre. It is not
switched on. It says that the security centre is currently unavailable
because the security centre has not been started. I have tried
services.msc but I cant find any reference to the security centre in

I have tried hard to find the information I need to be ready to encrypt my
files on my laptop.  I’m know able to do basic thing but not confident enough
to use it.  The reason is that I have made test and it shows that my
comprehension is far from perfect.

In explorer, one can set it so you see if a file / folder is encrypted by
the color.  from script or command how would one find out?
I am in the midst of migrating data from an old PC to another new PC. I

I am trying to learn to use ASP.NET programming, and to do so I need to be

I have two XP Pro machines (PC1 & PC2) in a WORKGROUP environment - No Domain.
I logged on locally to PC1 and encrypted some files. I try to access those
files from PC2 through a shared folder (on PC1) and cannot open anything I
encrypted.

Task manager finally sorted out thanks for the help on that one.
I mentioned before that when I go into yahoo search for a particular subject

I tried to do an upgrade instalation of Windows and it failed and went into a
infinate loop of crashes, so I was forced to format and re-install from
scratch Windows Media Centre 2004. No problem there. I had most of my
important data on another partition.

i'm getting the message .. that my local profile cannot be found...so i am
only able to sign on with a "temporay profile"...
How do i get back my "local profile" ?!?!?!

Looking to implement ABE.  Seems to work A-OK with the few users that we've
tested with(much like WinCloak by Scriptlogic, without the price tag).
Looking to Migrate a Netware 6.0 server running CIFS over to Win2003SP1 with
ABE.  ABE truly makes my life easier!!  :)
