The updates show that they are downloading and installing. A message shows that the updates have successfully installed. Then the process repeats itself over and over. Is there a way to stop this? Thank you!

I am trying to run the GPInventory application to gather information from my users XP Pro SP2 pc's. However 95% of them come back as the RPC server is unavailable and I have been unable to isolate why those few ones do work correctly.

I have windows XP proff, drives formatted NTFS, I keep al my data on my D drive, OS is on the C drive, I do not use the MyDocuments Folder. I have an employee that uses my computer, he has a seperate login as limited user.

I have two pcs. In one I have the option at screensaver tab "on resume password protect". In another I have the option "on resume display welcome screen. How to change this option of password protrct to display welcome screen and vice versa.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I have found the following: 1. Windows Update politely informs me that there are updates to install. 2. By doing a Custom Update, and seeing what the update(s) are, I deselect them all (only 1), and hit Close.
