I am trying to prevent a user on my machine from using it at certain times of the day. I haven't found a setting that will allow me to do this.

when i try to open my email a small box pops up and ask me if i want this info. coppied to my clipboard. it has a lock and key on the left side and a blue question mark. when this pops up it freezes my computer. i can't make the box go away so i have to mannuely cut my computer ...

When my computer is idle for more than a couple of hours, it locks me out. It says to enter my password.....I didn't even know I had a password for windows? Please help. The only way I can get into anything is to restart my computer....this is becoming a pain.

I run several programs, such as DirMS-S Degragmentation Utility, that require a connection to the internet. Does that mean that the info in my pc is being spied upon, monitored, etc, when I run the programs? Denise

Have just installed Norton 2006 and it recommends that I switch "off" the WINXP Firewall so as to get optimum protection from Norton. Which is best? Follow the recommendation or let the two "on" at the same time?

I installed AOL firewall and had to uninstall Microsoft firewall. When I restarted WindowsXP, it asked me for my user name and password. I never created a password. I've tried restart & cold start. How do I open my computer?
