I'm running XP-Professional-SP2, and am trying to fix some things..
One of them is this blasted firewall.  Whenever I try to open Windows
Firewall, I get this error message:
"Due to an unknown error, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall

KB313580 installed by auto update, on reboot windows firewall turned off and
can't turn it back on, can't uninstall update from add/remove programs,
system restore hangs on shutdown. Any ideas? Thanks

Everytime I atttempt to open the Control Panel on my Windows XP Home Edition,
I, for some unknown reason, get a box popping up all the time instructing me

A PC here does not display the Favorites. Nor can one Organize Favorites or

On the trace I get 6 ISAKMP main mode  and 4 IKAKMP
quik mode messages, then communication stops.

I am quite new to file encryption.  I am setting up EFS in a

I have a VAIO that won't let me install drivers or updates from Sony unless
the model matches the original value from their restore DVD's.  I have
reinstalled XP MCE from a set of vanilla CD's, so the model just shows
