Is it possible to revert folder permissions to their default (at the time of
installation and new user creation) values?
If impossible, where do I look for info re: standard permissions for Shared
and individual user's Documents folders?

I have set up a user with administrator group but when I choose to access
administrator tools I get a blank folder despite being logged on as an

We have a service that runs on our XP workstations that is set to startup
when the system is rebooted (Start Up Type set to automatic). We have an
issue with some users going in and stopping this service and also disabling
the startup. End result is the servcie isn't running.

We are having issues with an XP pro workstation, from what I can see, someone

Situation: Our systems are configured to run a screensaver (locked with
user/pass required) after 10 minutes of non-activity.
Goal: I would like to monitor how long the screensaver actually runs on
that system.

After computer a part of a domain, it takes too long to login after I
enter login name and password.
I think this is one of the oftenly occured problem.

I need to use Group policy to disble WIN XP SP2 firewall, or open specific
ports (both in bound and out bound) so my client PCs can use certain
programs.  Could you tell me where the settings are under GPO that I can do
