Hi!  With one of our old machines I'm trying to get AntiVirus.  I downloaded
Kaspersky Internet Security 2006.  Turned off Norton AV. Suddenly IE would
crash as soon as I typed a url or clicked a link. Even if Kaspersky is off.  
Finally I removed Kaspersky and only now IE works ...

Yesterday installed SP2 for WindowsXP.  Now Windows Firewall is turned
on and can't be turned off (the off radio button is greyed out).  It's
conflicting with my ZoneAlarm firewall.  Anyone know how I might be able
to correct this?

Is there a way to password protect a laptop hard drive?  I know there is a
BIOS password but that does not protect if the HD is removed and placed in
another PC.  Similarly a user password (I think) only protects if the user
uses the same OS (here it is XP MCE).

I created a password reset disk in a USB drive, and I do not need it anymore.
How can I "delete" it or stop the computer from recognizing the "disk"?
