my pc crashed & i had to start it up again using my xp disc( windows xp home
edition)  i am now being asked for an administrators password - which i
cannot ever remember doing....when i put my disc back in nothing happens it
keeps on going to the screen asking for the password .. ...

I have a user, who does have local admin and has managed to unjoin his laptop
from the domain and put into his own workgroup. Should he have been able to
unjoin from the domain without knowing a user name and password for someone
with domain admin security group membership?

User A has login to (exchange 2003) outlook 2003 using his credential.
After user A logout, outlook still remembers the last login name.
User B tries to login to his outlook profile, click "cancel" on the password
prompt a few times with user A credential, this got User A account ...

Whenever I plug in the broadband cable, and every 15 mins or so after that, a

Is there a way to force XP Pro to change the permissions on files that are
moved into a folder as they are copied/moved?
