I just had a user lock out a local admin account? this is new? I did not think local administrator accounts were subject to GPOs such as the account lockout thresholds etc.. I didn't think the local administrator account *could* be locked out by too many failed login

I have, all of a sudden, received a restriction warning "Administrator has prohibited access to CD/DVD drives". There is a red crossed circle over my two external disk drives, my floppy disk, my internal and external DVD drives and my USB drive.

When windows tries to delete this file "lpt1.idm" it messagebox's "Cannot delete lpt1: The parameter is incorrect" Nod32 (my AntiVirus) errors when deleting / quarantining it. The virus warning appears everytime I load an application such as: Internet
