i keep getting this virus alert which pops up on my computer and is to be found on my taskbar. when you press on it it links to an ad for spyware protection. try as i may i cant remove it. anybody know how i can get rid? Cheers

Window explorer keeps closing itself due to Data Execution Protection (DEP) when I try to open the folder that contains .mpg files. This is not an issue for XP SP1. Is there any way to turn off DEP feature?

These are XPHome machines, fully patched, SP2. I have them set to notify me when updates are available, and I'll download myself if I decide to install them. Many update notifications have accumulated in the AutoUpdate window.
