i keep getting this virus alert which pops up on my computer and is to be
found on my taskbar. when you press on it it links to an ad for spyware
protection. try as i may i cant remove it. anybody know how i can get rid?

I am trying to delete three empty folders from a hard drive on a workstation
running XP Pro SP2. I get an "Error Deleting File of Folder Window" with the
following message:
Cannot delete <folder name>: access is denied.

Window explorer keeps closing itself due to Data Execution Protection (DEP)
when I try to open the folder that contains .mpg files. This is not an issue
for XP SP1. Is there any way to turn off DEP feature?

I am running XP Pro SP2 and inadvertently disabled my firewall and then got
