I am troubleshooting a problem on a computer running XP Pro SP2 from another
person and when I use IE 6 to visit certain sites, I get a message in the
info bar that says my current security settings prevent activex from running
on that computer.

This file keeps getting loaded (despite having its check-mark removed from
the startup list) and is an infected file that seriously impacts Internet
access (e-mail, MSIE, VPN, etc.). Symantec Antivirus removes it (once it is

Hi. My current OS (XP) boots on C partition. I want to rename this partition
as W (W from Windows) (obviously, I want my XP still boots on this new W

Is there any way that I can make seperate drives and/or folders on those
drives private so they cannot be accessed by a guest user on my computer?  If
not, is there a way that they cannot make changes or delete the files on

I was looking for something else, but I found that I have a Service named
Q804ieldndm that is disabled, has no description, and no dependancies.  Does
anyone know what this is or what it does?  Should I keep it or delete it?
