I have a user and I just added his own laptop to my XP domain.
How can I gave him admin rights to his laptop to manage his programs,
files, etc when he is logged in to the domain as a reguler user?
Also, how can I let him have access to his own/old profile in Documents

some days ago I have got a virus that the antivirus find in a file named
Xsj1.exe
the file is find in the directory C:\windows\temp
and is detetcted to be a file of type dialer.iff

Alright, this one is a bit of a problem.  
On my home machine, windows xp home edition, I had used the standard file
sharing utilities to make the "My Documents" folder private and password
protected.  About a month later my software installation of XP home became

One of our remote offices is complaining about the default domain policy
locking the XP workstations too quick.  I have approval to extend the time
period.  Where do I do this.  The screensaver settings are not enabled in the
default domain policy yet all of these machines lock ...

I am trying to delete items in the registry specifically McAfee data.
This was on the advice of McAfee because my software would not update and I
can not reinstall it becase it indicates and error on install.

i have 2003 domain with user  roaming profiles. i have created user
profile folder on the server and shared that with appropriate
permission. the share permission is FULL CONTROL to Everyone group. the
NTFS permission are administrator full control system full control

hello    i have a prolem and almost ready to  reformat and install windows
all over again if i cant figure it out
MOST of the time when i go to switch users   it wont let me.. windows cant
load user  message and then sends me back to the boot log in screen.   and
