Hi Folks ... running XP Pro SP2/Office Pro 2002 and noticed a mysterious
account in Control Panel/User Accounts ... namely "ASP.NET Machine A..."
(limited account)  This account does not show in the 'Welcome Screen' on
startup.

We have some classrooms where the users 'fiddle around' with the volume
control (muting or setting other levels). Is there an easy way to have any
changes a user makes discarded on log off? We're running XP Pro SP2 in a
domain environment. Could this be set by policy by example?

I have a home network and I access my desktop remotely via remote access
(broadband has static ip port forwarded to my desktop).
I gave my son a user id with limited access - now how do I further restrict

I'm building an XP Pro image and have pretty much got everything locked down
apart from one thing. I cannot find a way of preventing users double clicking
the  program groups in the startmenu and opening an explorer window. Is there
a way of preventing this with a group policy? ...

I just got back from vacation, and now I'm trying to run the Disk Management
Utility to rename a drive. An odd error keeps coming up and preventing me
from doing this. After I click the Disk Management item in the Computer
Management tree, Windows gives me an error:
