Is there a way to disable USB memory key U3 support.  We are a school system
and we want our students to use USB memory keys, but don't want them
executing programs from the device.

I have a recurring window popping up every time i use IE (version 6). It
happens sporadically but is pretty much guarantted to pop up when I access
hotmail or yahoo, i have no idea if thats related though.
The window pops up with a security warning saying:

I am working on XP pro and have had a problem with users changing the
background to obscene images.  I understand that this can be done in the

By default, all our XP Pro machines are set to use Simple File Sharing. From
what I understand, if you are on a domain, it should be disabled by default,
but it isnt. We are on a domain.
I would appreciate any help with this.

The computer runs very slow. Went to add-remove to see what I could take out.
Found more than 20 security updates and other similar programs.
A. - is this slowing the computer?
