I would like to set up a series of group policies on a limited account, but I would like full access with my administrative account. Is this possible on a local machine, so Active directory is not needed?

My laptop was in for repairs and the company incorrectly spelled my name when they loaded Windows XP Pro. Now , certain of my accesories like my I-Pod does not want to sync with the incorrect name. How can I change the registered to part ?

I have Win XP with SP 2 runnign and lot of people uses my PC. I wants to creat a USER like that if that user is logged on, they can not Change any program settings, can not delete or uninstalled any program and also can ne install any new program on that PC.

I just did an (free) upgrade from "Norton Internet Security 2006" to NIS 2007. Questions: After the upgrade the Security Center ..."has not started or was stopped..." I guess this is due to NIS 2007 taking over (using its own firewall...etc...)

I have Windows XP Home edition. I have never used a password sign in to Windows. Just recently, I rebooted and when trying to sign in it says "invalid username and/password". I have not changed anything that I'm aware of.
