I am running Windows XP with SP2.  I recently removed a user account with
Admin properties, and set my generic admin account to have no password.  When
I rebooted, the welcome screen had no users on the right side.  I used the
Ctrl-Alt-Delete method to get to the classic logon, ...

Is there software that will take a snapshot of my entire system on one day,
take another snapshot the next day, and list the files that have been
modified b/t the two days.  I won't to know any 'additives' that is on my
system.

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.
I'm looking for a way to force a system to log in to a specific account
any time it is at the welcome screen/no account is logged on in Windows
XP.  Of course I've found ways to make it log on to a specific account

Removed drive from XP Home computer ( processor failure)..
Installed this drive as a slave drive in another XP Home computer...
Trying to save the data in the Document folder ( slave drive )...
The folder is Locked ( can't access )...

When I go to Control Panel, there are 2 User Accounts in the list.  When I
click on either one, I get a pop up error message "Wrong number of arguments
or invalid property assignment".  When  ok on the error message, the User
Account form is blank.

Hi all, WIN newbie here.
Question: What do I need to do to enable one of my dektop in a home wireless
network to allow folks to remotely login and work on that particular desktop?

I try to update my norton antivirus, it tells me that it can not update
because I do not have sufficient access rights on my computer, it tells me to
make sure I am the administrator of the computer.  I have even added a few
other accounts to try to make sure. HELP   HELP   HELP

I can't run any programs for about 60 secs. after startup when I have
Automatic Updates on.
I have Automatic Updates set to notify. I even have problems bringing up
Task Manager.

We are using a video phone application which works only with administrative
privileges. But we want normal domain users to be able to use this
application. We tried using 'run as' command in the back end, but we are
unable to send the password parameter. Kindly suggest on this.
