I have protected some of my folders as Private in Windows XP Pro. When I made a clean re-install of XP Pro I cant seem to access these folders anymore. It keeps on saying access denied. I really need to get acces. How can I?

We are having issue with Windows XP SP2 encryption, when we try to encrypt a folder we get this error message" Recovery Policy Configured for this system cotains invalid certificate" We also can open the files in the encrypted folder with read only access.

I use Windows XP Home Edition at home, and I have my hard drive partitioned into C and D drive (a default factory setting). I had some of my files on D drive marked as private so other users on the computer will not have access to it.
