I don't know how I did it, but somehow I now have a supervisor password request on my computer. The problem...I didn't put it in. Now I am unable to access the content, and that is something that I REALLY need to be able to do. Can anyone help me figure this out?

i got this computer from a friend and i am trying to install a program on it and it want a licens number for that person before i can install it . what can i do to fix this . i hope someone out there can help me.

I have tried all of your suggestions Jesper and none of them work. There are no files open on the other computer. If I create a new document, it exhibits the same problem. Can't afford to buy a USB flash drive.

Is there a way to restrict or disable a device frmo the guest account? I have a cd organizer and do not want to have the guest account have access to the device. Any ideas? Thanks

I did run windows life oncare safety scanner and every time everything is ok but there is some files that can't be scanned eller opened, I don't know what does this means, is it a virus or spy ware, also sometimes i feel that my computer a little slow.

For awhile I had two versions of Windows on my computer. I've since deleted one but I still get it as a boot up option on power up. I had this a few years back and stumbled acroos the solution by accident so I know somewhere theres a command I need to delete.

Hello; I'm new to WIN XP-Home, and my Recycle Bin is emptying every shut-down. I want the contents to stay there until I am ready to empty Bin myself, as in WIN 98. I've searched all over, but cannot find the setting to change Recycle Bin. Please advise and thanks.
