I had my Windows XP update performed on 17Feb07. Afterwards, when I restart
the PC, I could not get the sign on screed even I tried to run "Safe Mode". I

I am unable to logoff (if not shut down) on an intermittend basis. I can
continue using the currently running account (limited user of administrator)
