I am running XP Pro and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to prevent someone from creating their own user account when I am logged on as an administrator. I have had this happen to me and I would like to prevent it in the future.

I am having trouble setting up limited user accounts with Media Center 2005. It keeps saying module missing. Also the publicly used toolkit isn't available for media edition. Any help would be appreciated. I maintain several laptops for our library but am not a professional.

Which would be the most expeditious method to push out (in bulk numbers) a permission change to a folder on every PC? The folder already exists on all PC/Laptops; I need to allow Read Only access to this folder for a specific security group.

I have Windows Update set to automatic, and when you look at the update history, it shows many failed updateds for Office XP. Office XP is not installed on the computer. Why does it try to do those updates?
