I had to reform my hardrive. Can anyone tell me the correct method for re-installing all My Documents from my Back-up disk please? I don't think the correct way is just to copy everything from the disk to my hard drive.

I have been using XP on my laptop, which has 2 drives (C: & D:). XP is run from C: and all My Documents folder is stored is on D:. Unfortunately I had to reload XP on to my machine as the laptop would not boot up properly.

When I run a batchfile in Windows and have it redirect it's output like so: blah.bat > verify.txt It sends error messages to the console, and not to verify.txt. How can I get the error messages to go to verify.txt as well?

With NO PROBLEMS for months, running XP Home, Norton Antivirus, an error message keeps telling me "it needs to close down". SPYBOT reveals that Microsoft Windows Security Centre is DISABLED. Repairing sometimes restores, but then next time I boot up, it is Disabled

Attempted to install ITunes 7.1.1 into my laptop w/ Win XP SP2. An Error Msg said unable to edit the Registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run". Went to Regedit and check it out, an error msg popped up and said Error.
