We have all the users set as local administrators. After I installed Access-based enumeration, the users should only see the shared folders that have been assigned to. But for some reason, they are still able to see all the shared folders.

Is it normal for hewlett packard to install windows on their computers; and if so, is it normal that I did not receive a disk with my brand new computer? SHouldn't I have gotten one with the computer?

After I download the Critical Updates, I notice it says "You will have to restart your computer for the change to take effect." When I click on OK, Microsoft shuts down my AOL and restarts my computer. Then I have to sign-on to AOL again.

I have 2 machine names that when I ping each name, I get the same IP address for both machine names...? I have isolated the actual machine and can see nothing in computer properties that shows 2 machine names. I thought this was impossible.
