After giving up on Vista, I reinstalled windows XP Professional. I added
users. But when the machine comes up, it asks for a user id password. I used
to see a list of users displayed when the computer first powers up and

Sometimes when I shut down my machine, I see a program names
gOoxl(long hex #).exe being 'ended' and I suspect it's a virus, but when
