hello, I 'd like to permit users to add device on there machine.
I'm the network admin of a 2003 domain and my users have just user access.
when they are moving in customer office, they need to plug customers
printers.

I have a fault concerning the firewall that is enabled by default under SP2
I keep geting an error message saying that the Firewall Configuration Utility
has encountered a problem and needs to close etc..Is there a solution to this?

I have a user with a roaming profile who is losing images, and
sometimes the entire header, of Word documents. Other users logged in
to the same computer can see the images. When this user logs into a
different computer, she cannot see the images.

Why is msconfig telling me " access dnied error was reported when trying to

Well you know how you can use remote desktop on a network.  You just
type in the computer name and login.  But you can also type in an IP
address when you are not on that network.  Does the same apply for
shared folders?  If it did that would be awesome. Also, if this is

I just bought this used computer that has xp pro on it and every time that I
try to get auto updates I get a message that I am denied due to an
administrative setting. Iwent through the disable in gpedit but still
nothing. I've dropped the level of security on the windows ...

Hibernation works great on all the computers I've ever used...but whether on

Hello. I have already done a registry trick to hide the default (or last user
to use the computer) user account name from showing up at the Windows Logon
dialog box (the old fashioned one). That way, I have to manually type my user
name and password in.
