I've tried setting all my "advanced options" to what the help guide states,
in order to stop the information bar from popping up every time I browse the
Net.
I know I have my settings set to LOWER than recommended, but that's the way

I am trying to keep a specific folder unacessible for another user in
my PC. I am running XP Home SP2 (NTFS formatted). We are both
administrators. After gathering some information from this and other
groups here I followed instructions as provided here:

Problem: In Automatic Updates, there's one update available: Windows

is there any way to force the deletion of a file altough it is in use
by another process?
We have extended user rights on our clients server but we are not
allowed to install thirdparty software (e.g. like unlocker).

My wife and I would like to share a folder without our daughter being
able to access the folder.  All three of us are using XP pro with
