This is probably the most basic recommendation to secure your system.
Setup a limited user account for everyday activities and use an
Administrator account only for installing new trusted software. Linux
has always done this and Windows is slowly going that direction with

Can anyone point me in the direction of instructions on how to set up a
policy to restrict access to options like the control panel on a limited
account on winXP Home. I need the administrator account to still have full
access just restrict a user with a limited account?

I have a strange question. Is there a way on a stand alone XP machine (not in
a domain) to lock out a user from changing the clock's time, month, year,
time zone, etc.?
