I randomly got a virus on my XP laptop.  This bug makes all my icons
disappear and reapear unexpectedly.  I cant seem to open any programs, and
some of the   processes look shady.  I want to delete it all and start over.  
One problem, i dont have the discs that the laptop came ...

I was told that the reason for my computer slowing down was that one of the
users of my PC opened quite a few porn sites, and that could have caused a
number of viruses to invade.  Where do I go on my PC to see the viruses that
are on my PC and how do I remove them?  Thanks.

When I got my new laptop with XP (1st time user) I used the Administrator act
to create all my email acts, move in all my files from my old machine,
customize look and feel, etc.

I'm not sure what I did, but I am no longer able to move, copy, or alter any
files or folders in my "shared documents" folder. The error message says
"Access is Denied: make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that
the file is not currently in use".
