A number of our users are remote, and others have both a desktop and a laptop (for use at home, don't ask!), and the only people that don't have this problem are the office workers using an always connected desktop.

I have found out I cannot trust my son with my computer, so I want to password protect my computer to keep anyone but myself from accessing it. I don't feel guilty because he has a very nice computer of his own. He just can't keep his hands off my computer.

When I log in to (the only) administrator account on XP home machine, I am unable to use the power options or user account management. I created a new account in safe mode and in normal mode, the new account has the same problem.
