I am the only user on a home computer. I need access to the administrator account. Where can I set a password for administrator? Clean install of XP Pro. (no admin password) Upgraded to Home Premium.

on a friends new notebook with XP Pro Sp3 is a strange effect. If he tries to log in, the system says the password is incorrect. But the password is correct, this is twice checked. On the system is another user without a password. If he logs in with that account, he gets into

In addition to a post just before me. I have Service Pack 3 just installed on Windows Home Edition. I did change the password of Administrator in Safe Mode in ControlPanel/User Account dialog in several ways (NO mistyping) :

I recently had a motherboard failure, and I was unable to get my existing installation of Windows XP Pro to boot from the new mobo. (FYI: There is a way to do this, but I blew it I guess. http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/moving_xp.html)

Under Tools and Plug-ins, I find TrackSweep. I check all the items under Internet Explorer, but nothing happens. When I look into Windows Explorer I see that the cache has not been emptied. Is there something I'm missing here?
