how do I block IM from an XP machine that is in a workgroup configuration
and not a domain type config

We are using AVG Network Edition 8 for clients on our domain.
We are bringing a computer lab that is using Symantec Endpoint 11 for its
anti-virus onto the domain. The Symantec clients are running Vista, and the
AVG clients are running XP Pro SP3.

Has anyone an explanation of the following entry I get in the mrt.log on some
of my systems?  The sysclean error is my concern.

A box that appears to be a Windows Internet Explorer security warning keeps
popping up on my computer saying my computer is infected and i need to go to
TRADEDAUBLER.COM and download and run a file to fix it.  I had the same thing
happen with Antivirus 2009.
