We use 802.1x authentication with Cisco ACS mapped on active directory 2003 server. We configure all equipements but in xp clients on the LAN properties the option "Authenticate as computer when computer information is available." doesn't appear.

When i try to unzip a folder I got the message that the folder is blocked to unzip the folder goto properties and unblock the folder, which I did. The folder still will not unzip. I go back to properties and the unblock button is gone. I'm running XP Pro sp3

My friend got a laptop from a friend and when he turned the computer on it asked for a user name and password, well, he doesn't know it. How can he get past this or how can he erase the hard drive without having this information.
