How do you find a rogue program in services.exe?30 Sep 2009 00:45 GMT3
I have a system that netstat -a -b shows tons of connections to smtp servers
and the pid is 852, services.exe.
How can I find out what program or dll is causing it and stop it?

I don't need Webroot anymore, now that I have Norton for both antivirus and
spyware; besides, my Webroot contract has expired.

This is probably of no concern but I thought to pass it on by the experts.
I am on a home wireless WPA protected network and connect to the internet
via a router to Cox internet. I use Zone Alarm free as my firewall.

I am running XP Pro
During the intallation I did not set an Administrator password.
When I right click on the command prompt icon and select "Run as" and choose
the Administrator option leaving the password blank..... it report can't log

I am using IE7 with the Phishing feature turned ON, but I notice it slows
