My computer is running Win 2000 Pro.  It won't boot
because files have been damaged and I don't have the CD.  
I purchased a Win XP Pro upgrade, but I can't get to the
Windows desktop.

Have a Dell which came with Windows XP Pro but was formatted and installed
as Windows 98SE. Can I use a different XP Pro upgrade CD (already activated
on another system) and the Dell license number to upgrade it to XP or am I
forced to format again and use the OEM CD?

I'm trying to develop an XP image with sysprep for a
netware network so i don't need the ms client and file
and print service installed. i have removed the ms client
from the image along with the ms file and print service.

I need to change my motherboard, since I did have problem
with the current motherboard. After I install new
motherboard Elite K7S5A, it got it boot up properly. I

We've had to start all over to install windows XP home.
Our computer fixer person can't find all the numbers that
need to be input to get it going.  Apparently it's on a
sheet of paper that came in the box with the CD, etc.

registry been corrupted and my computer just keep
