Does anyone know if there is a size limitation in XP
Professional for the boot partition.  I tried to create a
boot partition of 40 GB on my 120 GB hard drive.  XP did
not complain like NT would have, but created a 28.5 GB

A friend purchased Win XP Home Edition.  When chunks of
her system had trouble operating (drivers etc.), she
decided she did not want to use XP and rolled her OS back
to 98.

I have a laptop that I've used XP Pro for while.  When I
added it to a domain my desktop setting, Outlook profile,
etc disappeared.  How can I import these setting to the
newly created profile?

I could not start XP deployment from CD so I created XP
startup disks (6). When I boot up with disk # 1, I get

increase my first partition (using pqmagic) and to do that, first

Just got my computer back from shop, it was wiped and
windows re-installed. I now have 3 major problems, #1
spellcheck word is there but very light and nothing
happens when I click on it, #2 my home page is too big

In trying to resolve some problems I was having with IE, I
have caused even more system issues whose nature I cannot
figure out (strange messages from the "cmanager").  While
a quick re-install (i.e. an upgrade) was able to cure most

have 2 PC's in my house.  I have to buy XP upgrade AGAIN
to be able to use it on 2 computers in my house!! When I
