I've installed MS-DOS 6 (on the 1st partition which is 2048 Mb)and
after that I installed WinXP. So far so good. But now I want to

I have posted the problem on this newsgroup twice and
neither of them got through!  Anyway, I'm trying to
install Windows XP on a new system along with some of the

Updated several things via the MS Update site and
when restarted, I get the background screen photo, but
with no start menu, task bar or anything.  Have tryed in
safe mode, restore, starting from old configuration, but

When I upgrade XP professional from XP home, I get an
error which says "DRI_KBfilter" while upgrade. Cannot do
anything(no access to KB/mouse) except power down on my HP

i have a western digital 80gb hdd with an 8mb cache,
geforce 4 ti 4600 128 mb ddr, soundblaster live card, zoom

Need help installing Windows XP to a new drive.  My machine will not boot
from the CD.  If I boot from a floppy, Setup will not run under DOS.  Any
ideas?
